"Wavefront", a Tanzer 7.5 is a slick and sleek Canadian designed boat by Johann Tanzer of Tanzer Industries. Johann came from the aerospace industry, which accounts for the unique look and handling capabilities of this speedy fin keeled masthead sloop rig boat.
This Tanzer 7.5 comes with a blue dodger, mainsail, and a furling foresail, that includes a 130 Genoa and a small working jib. It is powered by a 7.5 hp Mercury Outboard and has tiller steering. The interior is basic, but includes galley sink, icebox, and a full head with toilet and sink. It has a nicely laid out interior which features two full length settees on both sides of the cabin, a v-berth and one of the settees in the main cabin converts into a double for sleeping.
"Wavefront" will appeal to the summertime cruising family as well as the club racing skipper. The Tanzer 7.5 is well known for both speed and responsiveness which makes it popular for racing, and her comfortable interior and forgiving nature makes "Wavefront" a safe and easily handled cruising boat for both new sailors and for family cruising. This boat and its sail area is easy to handle by a single handed Captain.
